Gantri

At gantri, my core role is to collaborate with industrial designers to turn their design concepts into fully developed products. Additionally, I develop new product architectures that allow Gantri to explore new product categories and enter new markets.

New Architectures

I led the development of the architectures and mounting systems for Gantri’s first hardwired product categories. These patent-pending mounting systems allow customers to install the products with minimal tools, electrical knowledge, or extra assitance.

product redesigns

I re-engineered these 4 product to significantly improve manufacturability and profitability.

Production Tools

I developed a 3d-printed handle to be used by production staff during the finishing process. This handle helps painters manipulate the products during painting and also provides a secure attachment to drying racks to reduced collision damage of parts. Additionally, I developed a color coded quality diagram system to ensure that production staff can easily understand the finishing requirements for any part and its surfaces.

pencil cup

The pencil cup was designed as a gift and product sample for sales teams to give to potential clients. I designed this concept to show off Gantri’s production capabilities both in form and in speed from concept to production. The entire process for this piece was completed in 2 weeks from initial sketch to fully finished products.
