Structure Furniture
January 2014 - December 2014
Structure Furniture is a modular furniture system using a snap-fit concept. The snap fit prongs are easily attached to a variety of joints allowing the user to build infinite structures for use at home or office.
Cherry Audio
March 2013 - 2015
Cherry Audio is a side project designing a small, tube audio system for use in small, living spaces. I wanted to create an audio system that syncs with modern smartphones, sounds good, is simple to operate, and looks cool on a desk, counter, or table. I've built a couple tube systems and placed them into vintage radio bodies, but ultimately intended to build a modern body for the system and sell them in boutique audio shops. A few different design and images of the tube radio kit I built are shown below.
Mustang Shift Knob
December 2014
I designed this shift knob as a Christmas present for my dad to use in his Mustang GT. The exterior of the knob is 3D-printed in stainless steel and coated in a black finish. The interior piece is printed in a high-resolution resin. This allowed me to print the threads necessary for assembly and installation. In SolidWorks, I created a parametric model that adjusted the hole pattern. The further the profile is from a central vertical axis, the larger the holes are at that point on the profile (adjusting the profile curve directly changes the size of the holes). My favorite part of this design is the shift pattern symbol on top of the knob.
Scorpion Stand
2009
The Scorpion Stand is a conceptual table stand I designed. It's intended to be constructed using wood and a canvas strap allowing the blocks to roll and hold the tablet at different angles (canvas strap is not shown in renderings).
